Cute Easter Bag

I shared, in a separate post, the Easter bags I did for Emma and her friend. I wasn’t going to make another one for Jack – he is nearly 15 and is more interested in the chocolate than a cute bag but then I found a draw string bag in my box of crafts and it was screaming out to be used as an Easter Bag.

So here we are.

It is VERY hard trying to design an Easter bag for a 15 year old boy so eventually after trying for days, I went with something simple (but still sooo cute).

I used glitter iron on for the bunny and these photos just don’t do it justice – it came out so stunning. If I make more of these I will definitely only use glitter iron-on or a very bold colour.

Like the other bags this also took me 20 minutes max to do from start to finish, so another quick and easy Cricut project.

Materials

  • Red glitter iron-on vinyl
  • Black glitter iron-on
  • Draw string canvas bag (I have absolutely no idea where this one came from)
  • Cricut Maker 3 (but you can also use a Joy Xtra or of a smaller bag the Joy)
  • Cricut Press (I have the 9×9 press but an iron works as well).

I love how it came out and I think it was my favourite Easter project this year.

You can see the design on my Design Space profile.

  1. That is cute! I too found Easter much harder once the boys got older… and now two of them really don’t even eat chocolate and didn’t want sugar so we just skipped it altogether this year. Maybe next year I’ll put together goodie baskets with things like chips and “snacks” instead.
