July was one of those months that started and then ended in one day. I can’t even really tell you what happened – it just came and went.
Back to the Share 4 Somethings: The idea is to share something we loved, something that sustained us, something we’re carrying forward from this month to the next, and something we’re making space for each month.
Something I loved in May….it definitely has to be our new bathroom! This bathroom has been in such a sorry state for so many years and it took them a few weeks to replace pipes and what not but we all absolutely love it.
It is still missing some wall art but other than that it is perfect.

I did some tough walks during July. There was less walking than I wanted but the walks I did do were tough, which I am really enjoying.

Something that sustained me…coffee and decluttering. Weird I know but with all the renovations I am ruthlessly decluttering and it is making me feel so much better. I clear out our cupboards regularly but there always seems to be MORE stuff we don’t need (think 1000 ziploc bags kept from our frozen berries and 65000 chopsticks from sushi and 568122 lids).
Something I am carrying forward...the decluttering. We have 3 more rooms to renovate and are redoing the kids cupboards – so a lot more rubbish will be leaving this house very soon!

Something I am making space for…calm. August is a tough month. It is when Cameron died but I am entering the month knowing it is going to be hard but trying to not let it completely consume and overwhelm me.
How was your July?
