Weekly Wisdoms #27

Looking back, the week was pretty good. We are getting into our rhythm really nicely now. Emma is loving her bi-weekly classes and Jack is also finding his groove with his school work. David was away pretty much the whole week which is always a little disruptive but he is away at his last big away event for the year, so life should settle again next week.

(Glimmers are micro-moments of joy that make us feel happy, hopeful, and safe.)

  • I got lots of scrapbooking done last weekend. It definitely filled my cup!
  • David won an award from Liberty. It is a big deal and the reason he was ion Cape Town for a few days.
  • Jack and I had a great school week. We made a lot of positive headway and I finally feel like we are now also on the right track.
  • I took the dogs on a walk again. It was a great walk and they both have so much fun.
  • I treated myself to a coffee and cookie while Emma did hockey. I have been looking for these gluten free cookies for ages, not all of the Vida’s have them, so it was a treat.
  • Emma had her Karate Nationals today and she did so so well. She got two silver medals in both her kata and kumite. We are so proud of her.

I have no weekly wisdoms this week. David’s been away the whole week and we had Emma’s karate competition today so there was no time for wisdoms this week!

I have decided to change this section up and add in my favourite photo of the week. A super chuffed Emma with her two silver medals (and her national colours). She worked so hard for this and competed so well.

I am joining up with the Word of the Week link party this week so my word for the week would have to be PROUD. We had a lot of proud moments this week. David winning his award, Emma getting silver, Kiara had images she took at work published and Jack sailed through this maths section! All of these things made me super proud.

Word of the Week linky

Until next week!
