Weekly Wisdoms #43

Can you believe it is October. This year seems have flown by and taken forever at the same time! We have no started planning and prepping for our December holiday and I can not wait. We have booked a house near Kenton on Sea that allows pets.

(Glimmers are micro-moments of joy that make us feel happy, hopeful, and safe.)

  • The Springboks played such a great game of rugby on Saturday. It was so exciting to watch!
  • We had lunch with Davids cousin who we haven’t seen in a while.
  • I went for a long walk on my own and it was so good. We had some rain earlier in the week so it wasn’t so dusty – still super dry, but not so dusty. I have reached the point in my walking where if I don’t go, my anxiety is off the charts.
  • My new Cricut Maker arrived! I was so busy with work I still haven’t had a chance to play with it properly but I am so excited to create.
  • My neighbours bougainvillea is in full bloom and is the brightest pink ever – isn’t it gorgeous.
  • Jack and Zac had a Nerf War games on Friday – the family who hosted it live on a little plot with horses and chickens and dogs – I desperately want to live on a plot like that – space for the dogs, a veggie garden and chickens!
  • I made these gorgeous thank you labels for Emma to take to her market on Saturday.

I have decided to change this section up and add in my favourite photo of the week. Just me.

I am joining up with the Word of the Week link party this week so my word for the week would have to be NATURE. I am loving being outside at the moment. You can smell the jasmine, everything is blooming – it is just a beautiful time of the year. I love it.

Word of the Week linky

Until next week!
