When the f*ck is this year going to start chilling out! HOW is it STILL JANUARY! Argh! I hate getting caught up in a cycle of negativity and catastrophizing but MAN I am tired already! So I am focusing really hard on the glimmers today!
Glimmers
(Glimmers are micro-moments of joy that make us feel happy, hopeful, and safe.
- We had a lovely walk on Sunday and my favourite spot. I LOVE sharing it with other people because everyone always enjoys it as much as I do. And breakfast afterwards was delicious.
- Emma was going to have a market on this weekend so I made some stock for her. She bailed last minute but I always love an excuse to create.
- I tried working with resin last year – it was a disaster. Mainly because I don’t do my research properly. Anyway I tried again this week and the results are amazing!
- I walked a newish trail on Thursday. It took me an hour to actually convince myself to get up and go but I am glad I did.
- I made this little Minnie Mouse cake topper for a friend for a cake she was making – she is so super cute.
- And because I couldn’t just print one sticker, I added some Stitch stickers. He is now sitting on my laptop.
I have also decided to start a new Link Party to celebrate our weekly glimmers. I would love for you to share a list of things that bought you joy the past week but it can also just be a post about the week, the day or whatever positive thing is going on in your life.

Those stickers are adorable! I am awful at reading directions on new crafting supplies and products too. My middle son had a year or two where he was obsessed with making these elaborate scenes using resin and I was so intimidated when he was just ready to dive right in… and turns out he really knew what he was doing! Will you share your resin projects with us when they’re set and ready?
