Weekly Wisdoms #73

Another week! This week was pretty heavy for me, lots of tears again but also lots of rest, calm and healing.

(Glimmers are micro-moments of joy that make us feel happy, hopeful, and safe.

  • We all went out on Saturday to look for ideas for the new kids bathroom. It was so much fun and we did eventually come to an agreement (sort of). Jack and Emma have completely different tastes which differ completely from David and I – so we all started out liking very different things. It was still a fun outing.
  • David and I went for a lovely walk with the dogs on Sunday. I have walked there before but we did a different trail which was fun.
  • Emma and my passports are ready. There seems to be an issue with Jack’s – he has a nose ring and when we applied they said it could be a problem but he couldn’t take it out so we just took a chance. Bit of a pain to have to go back but ours were ready in less than a week so I am not as stressed now about getting them in time for our September trip..
  • I had a therapy session, first one in about 6 months and it was a lot harder than I thought it was going to be but it was also good.
  • When it comes to clothes I am pretty safe and, to be honest boring but I have loved this style of pants for YEARS and when my favourite brand came out with a pair, I just got them and I LOVE THEM so much.
  • AND while I was looking for some new (plain) hoodies I found this one with Stitch on and knew I had to have it. Honestly I didn’t know clothes should bring such joy.

  1. Love those pants and that sweatshirt is so cute! That must have been tricky shopping when all of you have different decorating ideas. Good luck getting the passport sorted.
