Weekly Wisdoms #75

This was one of those weeks where you wonder what actually happened. It was the weekend and then suddenly it was Friday again.

(Glimmers are micro-moments of joy that make us feel happy, hopeful, and safe.

  • It was Jack’s birthday on Saturday and we had such a great day – he had a rock climbing competition, then we went bowling and ended with a delicious lunch.
  • Tuesday was a public holiday and we had such a laid back day – David and I walked and then I chilled at home. It was perfect.
  • I got 5 walks in – just at my usual spot.
  • Emma had her last day with her tutor – it was a bittersweet moment but we are all excited for her new adventure next term.
  • I had my hair cut – more of a trim – and my nails done before our holiday on Sunday.
  • We went back to the ER to put the cast on Emma’s wrist.

  1. How fun to get your nails done before vacation! I hope your daughter’s cast doesn’t get in her way too much while her arm/wrist heals.
