Weekly Wisdoms #78

Our holiday feels like was months and months ago! It feels like I am on the hamster wheel and it just keeps going faster and faster. Emma is back to school next week so we can get back into some sort of routine, around the builders and dust at least.

(Glimmers are micro-moments of joy that make us feel happy, hopeful, and safe.

  • Eve and I went to a workshop on Saturday for solopreneurs, which I am not really but I am glad I went. I am trying to say to more things that push me outside my comfort zone because you never know what might happen.
  • There was just 2 of us on our walk on Sunday but I am glad I didn’t cancel, we had a great walk – the weather was just perfect. Winters in Pretoria really are just such a vibe.
  • The bathroom is almost done. Despite the chaos it has been so exciting watching it all come together.
  • Our stairs tiles were chipping which is why we decided to also replace them now and I had no idea what colour or design tile I actually wanted but chose one anyway and I LOVE it. It sounds so silly but every time I walk up the stairs I smile a little.
  • I finally went for my regular sports massage – I missed last month and I have been feeling it. Its never really a pleasant experience but I can feel the difference afterwards.

This popped up in my Facebook memories and made me laugh all over again. There is so much going. Cameron and Kiara posing, David and Jack fighting for their lives and the family behind completely unbothered!
