I had to dig deep for a glimmers this week. Our car decided it needs a break – its been at the mechanic for 2 days and we still don’t have a diagnosis yet! They are struggling to get the new toilet to stop leaking. AND on top of all that my period arrived almost 3 weeks late and had me fighting for my life!
Glimmers
(Glimmers are micro-moments of joy that make us feel happy, hopeful, and safe.
- The bathroom is officially finished! Emma says it is like showering in a hotel.
- The Springboks won their match against Wales – game wasn’t great but we had a braai with Benji so was still a vibe.
- Emma started school on Tuesday and she told us it’s like she has always been there. It is still early days but she is loving it so far. ( Below is the only photo we got.)
- We had a great walk on Sunday – a lot of the ladies have been away but everyone was back, so it was a nice big group.
- Jack’s rock climbing coach was super chuffed with his progress and said he is doing really well.
- David and I went for a quick dinner with his cousin who was visiting from Cape Town – we don’t often go out in the week so it was fun. And we had delicious ice-cream afterwards.
