There were a lot of wins this week and a lot of adulting stuff was done. It was also one of those weeks that was over before it started, possibly because it was so busy.
Glimmers
(Glimmers are micro-moments of joy that make us feel happy, hopeful, and safe.
- Our renovations are officially DONE! What a wild ride it was but my house feels like a completely different space and we are all loving it.
- To celebrate we had a braai with friends on Saturday – we haven’t entertained in years because they house was falling apart so it was nice to have people in our space again.
- One of my favourite spaces is the photo wall below with the blue wall – we kinda just took photos and art work and just winged it and it came out so beautifully. The plan is to add to it as we go.
- I applied for my new ID on Monday – it took me 30 minutes. It was such a pleasant process!
- I had my hair cut and I really need to get this done more often. I was feeling so terrible about my hair so told my hairdresser to just make magic. I love how it came out – I feel so much better about it now.
- My subscription stationery box arrived and the theme is Adventure which so well time with our upcoming trips.
