Picking this weeks word was easy because the week has been so busy (again) with a million different things. I know we just came back from a holiday but I honestly feel like I need another one – in the hills, no reception, a personal chef and a library of books!
The bathroom is so close to being done. I was busy getting last minute things – extra tiles, grout, paint etc.
Emma starts school on Tuesday so we have been busy getting the last few things she needs, covering books, labeling things.
Our Mauritius trip is with the South African karate team, so there is a lot of team stuff that needs to happen. I have been busy buying kits, entering comps, filling out forms and so on and so forth.
We had a slow start to the year business wise but Davis has suddenly gained his momentum so work is busy busy busy.
We started packing up the kitchen to start that renovation and I have realised how much junk we have accumulated so I am busy slowly going through each box to see what we can recycle (a million empty glass jars), donate or throw out.
Emma had 3 play dates/sleep overs and Jack bought a friend along to rock climbing so there was a lot of planning and logistic busyness!
I am booking out this Saturday to not do ANYTHING! I am not leaving the house or getting out of my pjs – I am recharging!

Life does always seem busier after a holiday! I hope Emma has a great start at school! Things do sound really busy, I hope you had your Saturday doing nothing!
It does sound like a very busy week. Glad the bathroom is almost done and hope that back-to-school has gone well for Emma. Having to pack up the kitchen for the renovation sounds like a very good opportunity to have a good sort-out! Hope you managed to have your time-out on Saturday to recharge. #WotW
