Weekly Wisdoms #69

In theory a week that starts with a public holiday and ends with a public holiday sounds great right? I mean its only a 3 day work week! The reality is a little different – it’s more chaos than calm. Trying to figure out what day it actually is, cramming 5 days work into 3 days with almost everyone on leave.

(Glimmers are micro-moments of joy that make us feel happy, hopeful, and safe.

  • I did a long walk on Sunday – the trail I work weekly has a longer trail that combines two trails – I have done them independently but never together. It was actually so good. I was listening to my book and could have kept on walking.
  • Eve and I went to a local craft market on Saturday. Wile I was a little disappointed, we had a fun morning out.
  • Jack and I made some brownies – he made “normal” brownies and I made ones flourless ones with dates and pecan nut flour. Mine didn’t set properly but were still delicious. His where perfect.
  • We went to another expo on Thursday and it was very overwhelming with lots of people but I did pick up some great deals on some Cricut stuff.

  1. Wow! That sunrise photo is incredible! I often find those short weeks much more confusing and chaotic than I thought they’d be too.
