I love Facebook memories, I really do. They are a fun little reminder of captured moments. But they can also, at the moment, be a painful reminder of the loss.
This gorgeous photo popped up yesterday. It was a total punch to the gut. I mean just look at their little faces. They were the cutest little duo and we were the tightest trio when I was a single mom.
Then this morning this photo came up.
It is one of my favourite photos of Cameron and I. He was just six months here and it was our first holiday as a family and his first time at the beach. It is such a pure, wholesome photo.
I know I will always have these moments and memories and they are happy ones but right now every time I see photos of Cameron, it is a reminder of the loss.
It is a reminder that we will not have any more moments together.
There will be no more photos.
No more memories.
It is done. Our story together is over.
