Weekly Wisdoms #56

I don’t have a lot to say about this week. It was uneventful but not in a good way. I am struggling so much to find my flow this year – I know it is only January but it feels a struggle to get through each day at the moment (not in an I am down kinda way, more a frustrating kinda way.).

(Glimmers are micro-moments of joy that make us feel happy, hopeful, and safe.

  • I attended a breath and meditation workshop on Saturday. It was so lovely and I learnt a lot about the psoas muscle, fascia and obviously breathing.
  • We had a great walk on Sunday, its not my favourite trail but the breakfast afterwards was worth it.
  • Jack started his rock climbing coaching and he loved it. I am so happy he has found his thing.
  • I got three scrapbook pages done and I am so in love with all of them.
  • I got a new computer! I have been using Emma’s but it started getting super slow towards the end of last year. It is very nice to have a new, fast machine again.

I have also decided to start a new Link Party to celebrate our weekly glimmers. I would love for you to share a list of things that bought you joy the past week but it can also just be a post about the week, the day or whatever positive thing is going on in your life.

As per the Link Party rules – drop a link and visit a few of the other blogs and leave a comment.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

This is a throwback to our holiday – I miss this place every day!

Maybe this is the point. I hope it is.

Until next week!

  1. Your scrapbook pages are lovely! I knocked out quite a few pages myself last Sunday. We’re supposed to get quite a blizzard of snow this coming weekend and I hope to get lots of cards and scrapbook pages made them too.

  2. I love your scrapbook pages. It’s nice to find the happy things especially when it’s been a tough week. Your words of wisdom did not resonate with me this week. Twice I’ve been let down by men I gave everything too, with a six year break in-between. Now, I’m 60 and alone. I have friends but none who are truly there for me all the time but a couple who are their when I really need them.
