What a week! Winter entered the room with a bang including some serious flooding in the Eastern Cape and snow on the mountains in the Drakensberg.
Glimmers
(Glimmers are micro-moments of joy that make us feel happy, hopeful, and safe.
- David and I went away for the weekend to Bona Bona – even though he had to work, it was such a lovely weekend.
- It was our 13th anniversary on Monday. We did nothing special and honestly it was perfect.
- I had 3 amazing walks. They were cold and muddy but this week they all felt so much easier than they have.
- The cooler weather means lots (and lots) of coffee!
- Eve and I have started working on a new business idea and it is very exciting to be working on something new that I really love.
- I bought the air tickets to my 5 day hike in September. They were on special so I just did it and now there is no turning back! I am so excited – scared – but excited.
