Last year David and I went to the Good Life Show and we had the best time and discovered some really incredibly brands. We were so excited to visit the show again and it did not disappoint.
The Good Life Show is all about local, sustainable, organic, plant-based products. Last years market was largely plant-based products but this year they had a more holistic approach and while a lot of the products were plant based, there was also a few other products made from tallow and bovine collagen.
One of my favourite things from last year was the pestos and sauces and this year did not disappoint, we found the most amazing sun-dried tomato pesto – seriously I could eat it out of the jar.
A new brand we discovered was Okushal Cordials. We don’t drink alcohol anymore and I know the coke zero we do drink now and then is not great, so I am always looking for alternatives for us to enjoy. And these cordials are AMAZING. You could add them to your cocktails but they had tasters that had just been added with sparkling water and they were so good.
David loves a granola but he is now keto so its almost impossible to find a keto friendly granola but nuSeed has this Coconola that is low carb and delicious. I have used a few of their other products and I have been to their little kitchen so I know where it comes from. They had a crazy special on so obviously we had to stock up.
We also joined in a Masterclass, that was a little chaotic but it did add to the fun of the experience and the end product – a butternut soup with chickpeas was delicious and its always fun to do these things together as a couple.
This was the 3rd expo I have been to this year, which is a lot for me but each one has been so good and I have found some really great new brands and the specials at these things are often so worth it.

That sounds like such a fabulous expo! I’m going to have to Google a lot and see if I can find anything like that here in the states.
