Our walk on Sunday was at Groenkloof Nature Reserve. I have never walked here before so it is always nice walking a new route. We took a vote and decided to stick to the shorter route rather than attempt the 10km but at the end we were all sorry we had made that decision because it was a very easy 4.5km.
We saw giraffes which is the first time I have seen them while on a walk and we had to cross a rather large puddle – all adding to the adventure a bit.

That sounds like such a lovely walk. How neat to get to see some giraffes while walking– that is definitely something we never see here.
