Your Body Knows What It Needs

Over the years I have steered away more and more from conventional medication and treatments. I firmly believe that our bodies know what they need and they also know what needs to happen when something goes wrong – we just need to listen, which is often the hardest part.

I recently went for a Bioresonance scan. I went not because I am sick, I am not but more because I think I am officially in perimenopause and wanted to make sure that there was nothing I was missing regarding my weight.

What is Bioresonance

Before I dive into my results let me quickly explain what Bioresonance is.

Bioresonance therapy works on the principle that every cell in your body produces its own electromagnetic frequency – like a unique energy signature. When cells become damaged or diseased, supporters of this therapy believe these frequencies become disrupted or altered.

The treatment involves placing electrodes on your skin that connect to a specialized machine. This device is designed to detect and measure the electromagnetic waves your body is producing. Practitioners use these readings to identify areas where the frequencies might be “off” or irregular, which they interpret as signs of health issues.

This approach treats the body as an energetic system where health problems stem from electromagnetic imbalances rather than just physical or chemical causes.

Back to Me

Overall I was pretty happy with my results. A lot of the things I have been struggling have now settled. But my adrenals are still a problem, which is why the weight around my middle just won’t budge. While my gut is doing well, it could be doing better which obviously impacts absorption and overall health.

One of the reasons I chose to go this route with a naturopath is because I know I am healthy. I know I am getting fitter. But something is still a little off which is why the weight is still a problem. So I needed a solution that looks at my body holistically and will help me manage it holistically.

I now have a very holistic plan that doesnt involve me working out 7 times a week, walking 10000 steps, drinking 20l of water while giving up all the food groups known to man. It also doesnt involve a million rands worth of medication. Instead it involves making some small changes to my diet, getting into the sauna and taking a few supplements while we try get all my levels back up to normal. We have a 6 month plan of how to manage everything because my body knows what it needs to do, I just need to make sure it has what it needs and thats not going to happen overnight.

I finally feel like I have the support I need to tackle these medical challenges. It is amazing what a difference it makes when you feel heard by a medical professional.
