There was a stage earlier this year that I was not sure I would have a positive word of the week. The year just seemed to start so heavy for me. But that’s life, right? Nothing is stagnant – its constantly changing.

I was in such a great rhythm with my walking until David’s mom died and since then I have struggled to get back into it but I do miss it. So this week I forced myself to get up and go. I ended up doing a short walk for one of them but I was still happy that I got out there and ended up with 4 walks this week!
Its term break here now so Emma got her progress report and she is really doing so well. As a homeschooling (more unschooling at this stage) I am not too bothered by the report card but it definitely helps motivate her – she is super competitive – even with herself.
Jack got through all the maths I wanted him to get done this term which is the first time we have managed so very positive.
We have been wanting to get Kobe to the vet for a while but have been scared because he had a lump but eventually David just took him and everything is absolutely fine.
I made a few Easter projects on my Cricut and I was so happy without how they all came out. I am definitely getting better at these projects.
Jack got some very positive feedback from his rock climbing coach – people are noticing him improve and get stronger.

I hope you had a POSITIVE week!

I am joining up with the Word of the Week link party Check it out and join the part too!

I love that you found a heart shaped rock! We had a pretty positive week if totally average/normal. I’m perfectly fine with that! I did manage to get out walking a couple of days when our weather cooperated so that was really nice.
It’s lovely to hear that you’ve had a week full of positives and have been able to get out for a few more walks.
Well done to Emma and Jack, it sounds like they are both working really hard and doing well. Great news about Kobe, too. I can understand the hesitation about the vets. Our pets cause us so much worry, don’t they?
I am glad things are more positive! Well done to Emma with her progress report and to Jack with all the Maths. I am glad Kobe’s lump was nothing to worry about and good luck to Jack with the rock climbing.
Congrats on the walking! I’m so glad to read the progress Emma and Jack have been making. Also very happy Kobe turned out to be fine.
Well done to the kids on the progress they are making. Glad Kobe is okay 🙂
That does sound positive, what a lovely word. I’m glad Emma and Jack have made good progress and that Kobe turned out to be fine. I like that you’ve returned to walking too. I hope things keep getting better for you.
I’m glad you’re finding positives in life Laura, well done to both eMMA AND JACK WITH THEIR WORK, IT MUST BE HARD WITH WITH THE HOME (UNSCHOOLING AS YOU PUT IT) Sorry just looked up and realised I was shouting. Love the heart shaped stone #wotw
