It feels like it is Friday every day at the moment. I have grand plans to write more, the suddenly it is Friday again. I was skeptical about every woman who hit 40 recently suddenly getting diagnosed with ADHD but let me tell you, I have been so scattered the last few weeks, I think David may be crushing up ADHD meds into my coffee soon. The struggle to focus right now is so real.
Glimmers

- It is Jacaranda season here and oh man, they are showing off this year. So freaking gorgeous.
- I managed to get out for 3 walks this week. Walking regularly definitely helps my anxiety so even when I don’t feel like it, it has to be done.
- I got my extra blade and scoring stylus for my Cricut so I have been testing out a few things – I am having so much fun with my new Maker.
- Jack’s rock climbing had a sale on which meant he could get the shoes he has been wanting for a really good price. I am loving watching him fall more and more in love with this sport.
- The rains are starting – slowly and we had some lovely cool, rainy days.
- Every year I want to organise a Christmas party with our little friend group but never do, this year I just did it – we have a date and I am so excited about it.

I have decided to change this section up and add in my favourite photo of the week. I have a very sudden (but not new) need to get out of the city, buy a farm and get some cows, a pig and chickens! I took this on our Sunday walk around a local dairy farm and it is EXACTLY where I want to live.

I am joining up with the Word of the Week link party this week so my word for the week would have to be BUSY. The end of the year is always such a frenetic time, especially in South Africa because the whole country almost comes to a standstill in December so everyone is frantically working to get their stuff done! We also have 2 big events coming up and a holiday to plan for – on top of the kids end of year stuff!
