The beauty (and often frustration) is that life is constantly changing. The first few months of this year were rough but March was a positive month. It felt lighter and happier. I got back into my walking rhythm, watched lots of rugby and a whole lot of other things that make me happy.
Back to the Share 4 Somethings: The idea is to share something we loved, something that sustained us, something we’re carrying forward from this month to the next, and something we’re making space for each month.
Something I loved in March….There was actually a lot that I loved. I did a tough walk with Eve, it wasn’t long but it did involve some mountain climbing – we haven’t walked together in a while and I really enjoyed.
I did a 2-hour yoga class – it was soooo good. I haven’t done yoga for ages and this was different type of yoga to the ones I have done but it was so good.

We went to another rugby game – the weather was perfect and we have found our new favourite seats! And our team won – so a fun afternoon.

Something that sustained me…I started listening to Age Like a Girl by Dr Mindy Pelz and it has been inspiring and enlightening. It does also make my walks go by quicker when I listen. I already knew a lot of what she talks about but there is so much I didn’t know and the way she approaches perimenopause/menopause is with such positivity and excitement which is a nice change.
Something I am carrying forward...The positivity that we had during March. I feel like I am getting my groove back again (finally). We have a lot of weekends away planned over the next 2 months which is exciting and gives us something to look forward to.

Something I am making space for…more doing what makes me happy. More walking, breakfasts with David, crafting, travel.
Looking back it has been quite a transformative, introspective month. Things are changing again and I am excited for what comes next for us.

A 2 hour yoga class sounds fabulous! I love how I feel after yoga. Trip, large and small, always leave me feeling excited too.
