I think the weather has finally decided its time to cool down. This week was so lovely and cool with a little rain here and there. We are all also getting nice momentum with work, walking, school stuff – it took us a while this year but it feels like we are settling into 2026 now.
Glimmers
(Glimmers are micro-moments of joy that make us feel happy, hopeful, and safe.
- Our Sunday walk was just lovely. Its one of my favourite trails – its tough but so pretty.
- Coffee and breakfast after our walk was delicious.
- Emma’s indoor hockey team started playing games about 2 months ago – they kept losing, the girls in their league have been playing matches for ages (years probably) – they were getting a little despondent but on Tuesday they won their very first game and their second game was so close.
- I turned around on my way to my Tuesday walk because it was drizzling a bit but then turned back and went anyway – the rain held and I had a lovely walk.
- David and I went for a walk on my birthday and then got a large Plato coffee (sooo yum).
- Kiara designed and printed these Uno cards for me – each card has a different family photo on it and I love them so much.
- I found the follow on book from Confessions of a Fort-something f##k up on Audible and it is just as good as the first one. The narrator is British and does the accents of the characters so well. I listen while I walk and often literally laughed out loud.
- It looks like we have figured out the right dose of my HRT meds which means my cycle is back on track and doesn’t feel like its trying to take me out each month.

Until next week!

That is a lovely photo from your walk! It sounds like you had a few nice walks this week. We’ve had some really warm weather but I’ve still tried to get out every day anyway.
