Word of the Week

Is blergh even a valid word? It perfectly describes my week. It wasn’t good or bad – just blergh. I keep starting each week hopeful that its going to be a positive week but it’s just not happening – yet!

I am still struggling some work frustrations – corporate bureaucracy is going to be the downfall of our society.

I bailed on my walk on Thursday – no real reason – I just wasnt motivated so decided to skip and veg instead. (Probably should have just gone on the walk).

Jack broke my Stitch reed diffuser because he has to hang on everything *sigh*. I was very sad because I got it as a gift from Typo and they change ranges a few times a month – so it can’t be replaced.

But before I get too deep down the rabbit hole of negativity, I did achieve a few things

  • I got Jacks school stuff organised – it is no longer in piles on my desk.
  • We are very close to reaching agreement on financials for the complex. It has only taken us 6 months.
  • Jack and I started reading To Kill a Mockingbird for school – it took a bit of nudging but he is finally engaging a bit. (Teens are tough).
  • Jack broke his glass 2 weeks ago and they were finally ready on Thursday. He got a new frame and looks very grown up now.
  • We tried a few different recipes for dinner and they were all a hit. Even Emma enjoyed them.
  • My friend bought me a journal with a daily prompt. I have been writing in it every day so far! It is nice writing old fashion style on paper with a pen.

Let’s hope next week is less frustrating!

I am joining up with the Word of the Week link party Check it out and join the part too!
