What’s the plan, Batman?
I was reading my regular blogs can came across this one from My Slice of Life where she shares her quarterly goals. I haven’t really done this before but for the first time David and I have a list of things we want to get done around the house/car etc. I am also trying to get a little more focused and what better way to do that then set some goals.
It feels like we have lived a thousand lives in the last 3 months, we have done so much. Some intentional but a lot has been circumstance.
These are a few of the things I want to achieve over the next 3 months
- Walk more consistently. I would love to get to 15km a week. I have been doing it but not consistently.
- Repaint and redecorate mine and Emma’s office space.
- Write more consistently (are you seeing a theme here) – I want to get out 3 posts a week, excluding my link party and weekly wisdoms).
- I want to finish scrapbooking the album of photos I have.
- Read at least 2 books a month. (I could probably do more but this is achievable for now).
- Get a few more plants for the house.
- Get our family painting done. (We got this idea from Emma’s therapist, basically the 4 of us sit around a canvas and paint whatever we want – I did one with Emma in therapy and I love it so much we have hung it up). I want our family one for my office wall.
- We have a holiday planned for June and I cannot wait – my goal for that time is to rest and just be still.
- Continue on Emma’s health journey. This deserves a post on it’s own but we have the right Dr now and some solid answers to her problems.
- Get Kiara’s fees paid. She has graduated already but I have a little bit left to pay and want to get it done in the next 2 months.
If the first 3 months are anything to go by, the next 3 months are going to be a wild ride and I am actually very excited.

Oh this is a GREAT list of goals! I wish you all the best of luck in ticking them off your list.
I always admire people who makes these lists! Good luck!
Good luck with the things that you want to achieve, it is a great list! I love the sound of the family painting!
I love lists, they help me stay on track! #MMBC
