What a week! It has become impossible to ignore he state of the world. Trust me I have tried but the predicted R5 p/l increase in diesel next month is stressing me out!! Not only does it increase our fuel bill substantially, it means EVERYTHING goes up! *sigh*
Glimmers
(Glimmers are micro-moments of joy that make us feel happy, hopeful, and safe.
- David was away over the weekend so I didn’t walk (we only have one car) and I definitely had FOMO but it was actually also nice to just chill at home.
- We had a cooler week with a fair amount rain which has been lovely.
- I have done a lot of scrapbooking and managed to get my paper and stuff organised a bit so I can easily see what I have.
- I started reading a new book, I have had it next to my bed for ages and took it with me to read while Jack had rock climbing – I devoured about a 1/4 of it – I really need to read more – I love it and I do have the time!
- I had a sports massage on Monday. It was so painful and she did cupping (my first time) which was also SO sore. But two days later and I feel like a different person. I was going monthly but then stopped and my body just gets so scrunched up so quickly.
- I didn’t get my period. The reason this is a glimmer is because I have had FOUR periods this year already – they were rolling in every TWO WEEKS! My naturopath changed up my HRT meds a bit and they seem to be working, thankfully.
I only have one photo from this week! I snapped this after dropping David off – it is one of my favourite Springbok players! Unfortunately I was driving and he turned so I didn’t actually see him but it was still cool.

I have also decided to start a new Link Party to celebrate our weekly glimmers. I would love for you to share a list of things that bought you joy the past week but it can also just be a post about the week, the day or whatever positive thing is going on in your life.
As per the Link Party rules – drop a link and visit a few of the other blogs and leave a comment.

Picture of the Week
This is an old photo, it is one of the photos I had put onto an A3 canvas and its on a wall at the bottom of our stairs so I see it all the time and I LOVE IT! Its was a completely chaos trying to get them to all look at the camera but that’s why I love it – its so real. And the little finger tip touch with the big two makes me smile every time.

Wise Words of the Week
I love a bit of Fiddle-Faddle.

Until next week!

I love the photograph, I know how hard it is to get a pic of everyone together and the finger touch is lovely. I’m glad you are enjoying reading and that’s interesting about the cupping. I don’t think my body could take it now, too much interference and I go into spasms. People keep telling me to have a massage but I can freeze if someone just touches me, so it’s highly unlikely it would help. I love your word Fiddle Faddle, I think that describes my entire life at the moment.
Oh yes, once those fuel prices go up the cost of everything goes up. I already noticed a difference in groceries last week.
