One of my goals for the year is to write more here, which has led to me start reading other blogs which means I discover writing prompts like this one from GoodBetterBestLife.

1. What is your love language?
Mine is definitely quality time. Spending time with David always fills my cup and when life gets stressful its the first time I crave. Second I think would be gifts – but random gifts, bought for no real reason

2. Favorite love songs?
We danced to The Book of Love by Peter Gabriel and I walked down the isle to I hold the Sun by Nianell. Both absolutely beautiful songs.

3. Flowers, chocolate or something else?
Chocolate – always! I will never say no to Lindt dark chocolate.

4. Favorite romantic/romcom movie?
I don’t enjoy Romcoms! But I rewatched Pretty Woman recently and absolutely loved it! I do also love the Holiday – I have also watched it a few times.

5. Favorite childhood Valentine’s Memory
Oh gosh I never really enjoyed Valentines growing up. We used to do this forced letter swap thing at school and I still never got anything.

6. How did you celebrate Valentine’s Day?
We have never really been big on Valentine’s Day so we didn’t do anything specific but we are 100% ok with that.

7. Any love or romance traditions?
mm I don’t think we have traditions as such but we definitely make sure we make time for one another – especially when it gets busy.

8. When do you feel most loved?
David is really good at making me feel loved. I think I feel most seen and appreciated when he does simple things like make dinner or fetch the kids – stuff I can do but often don’t want to.

9. Big night out or chill at home?
Definitely chill at home!

10. Do you wear red/pink on Valentine’s Day?
Not intentionally but this year I did end up wearing a red shirt <3
